Saturday evening June 26th our North Coast Club will hold our 3rd annual “Tin Cup Chalice Dinner” at Jilbert’s Winery located at 1496 Columbia Road in Valley City. Dave Jilbert has transformed an old dairy barn into a wonderful place to spend an evening. The members and guests that attended in the past will remember the excellent food and fine selection of Lake Erie style wines. You can get a nice preview of Jilbert’s winery at ohiohoneywine.com. We'll start the evening by visiting the wine tasting area where you can sample and select the wine or wines you’ll enjoy that evening. All Jilbert’s wines are reasonably priced between $8.00 to $10.00 per bottle. Your reservation provides you a table for the entire evening. Drink and dine at your leisure. You’ll select your entrée from an event menu that will include fish, steak, chicken, burger and vegan dishes. The food is bought and made fresh and served table by table. This year “The Boxes” will be providing the evening's entertainment, after which the party continues with a bonfire marshmallow roast. Dave has made some nice improvements since last year’s event. There is now an expanded stamped concrete patio, he’s blacktopped and enlarged the parking lot and only just a week or so ago, he integrated his grilling station into the regular kitchen area. The banquet hall seats a little over 70. Come out and join us for an evening of fun, food, music and relaxation.
